拓展1. Context & Task Preparation
To facilitate their group discussions, students utilized the thinking tools on LoiLoNotes to brainstorm and take notes after being presented the context and task.

拓展2. Recap of Prior Knowledge
To enhance their ability to respond to others in a group discussion, students were presented with a few scenario-based questions designed to recapitulate their previously learned discussion skills. Teachers can revisit some skills if necessary.

拓展3. Self & Peer Evaluation
To practice their group discussion skills, students were divided into groups and engaged in a discussion. Following the discussion, students were prompted to use a thinking tool to evaluate their own performance as well as their peers' performance, with a focus on the lesson's objectives.

拓展4. Task scaffolding
As students worked in groups to prepare their dream exchange destination presentations, they were reminded of the importance of selecting a visually appealing aid to introduce their destination. Specifically, they were asked to select one compelling image that effectively captured the essence of their destinations and the purpose of the exchange program.

拓展5. Group Presentation
To summarize and consolidate their group discussions, students were asked to deliver their presentations in class at the end of the activity. Afterwards, a poll card was used to collect students' preference as peer feedback to students' presentation.
